Sometimes we all get caught up in what needs to be inspected and what must be repaired when buying a home.
All to often we forget what life is all about and what is important in life. Last week I arrived at a very small condo on a bright sunny morning and was greeted by the seller, it turned out that they lived in Paradise, California which was burnt to the ground last year. They lost their home and everything in it, their business building escaped the fire but two of their employees lost their lives in the fire, the office is there but no customers.
The sellers of this condo lost everything except their family, yet when I entered their tiny condo they had a “Welcome to our home” plaque on the wall, this spoke volumes about what we all need and hold dear in life, a safe place that we can be together in, a place no matter how big or small, new or old, in the city or country, a place to call home.
