Detailed, Customized, In-Depth
At the end of the Inspection the Inspector will prepare your Inspection report on site. There is no waiting around, the information is in your hands as soon as we are finished.
Any problem the Inspector observed is clearly noted, the location in the building documented and photos where necessary. The Inspection report you receive is not just a “fill in the blanks” report, it is a detailed, customized analysis of your property.
The report is computer generated for you and laid out in an easy to read format, giving you a description of the components and their condition. The exterior areas, attic, basement and garage, along with plant and equipment are all reported separately.
Your Inspector will explain the report and the forms to you before he leaves. Inspected items that are in working order are checked “performing intended function” and those items that need immediate attention are reported as “immediate repair or replace“. Less serious problems are reported separately and checked as “repair or replace“.
Summary pages that give you a list of all the items needing repair and those needing immediate repair. These summaries can be used as a check list for repairs.The computerized report is presented to you at the end of the inspection, there is no waiting overnight.
Your report comes in a customized hard cover binder divided into five sections.
– The ASHI Standards of Practice that we adhere to.
– The results of any additional testing that was undertaken. (Gas leaks, Well etc)
– Comprehensive maintenance schedules to help you maintain the value of your new home.
– Information to keep you secure and safe.
Out of town and need a copy of your report quickly?
We will email you a copy of the report and send you the original by priority mail. Getting you the report without delay is paramount, you are going need the information as quickly as possible because there is a limited Inspection period and you want to make your purchasing decision with a confidence that is based on hard facts.
