Inspection Report

Detailed, Customized, In-Depth

At the end of the Inspection the Inspector will finalize your Inspection report on site and send it by email. There is no waiting around, the information is in your hands as soon as we are finished.

Any problem the Inspector observed is clearly noted, the location in the building documented with photos or videos. The Inspection report you receive is not just a “fill in the blanks” report, it is a detailed, customized analysis of the property you are looking at.

The report is electronically generated and presented in an easy-to-read format, giving you a description of the components and their condition and in many cases a comment describing the rule it violated. The interior and exterior areas, attic, basement and garage, along with plant and equipment are all reported separately. Suggestions are added where applicable

Your Inspector will explain the report’s findings to you. Inspected items that need attention but are a minor concern are color coded Blue. Moderate concerns are color coded Orange. Items or conditions that are serious or color-coded Red, making it easy to look quickly through the report.

All conditions identified include a suggestion for which tradesperson would be required to make the repair. Repairs for a given trade can be grouped in the list maker and emailed to that company asking for an estimate.

View a sample report, this sample is stripped down and not as detailed as the one you will receive, but shows the presentation, the options for reading the full report, a summary, a RED list of most concerning issues or reading a PDF version which can be downloaded.

Your fully interactive report when opened is the full report with each category’s Information, Limitations and Standards tabs across the top. You can change views and get a summary of the report which is quick, easy reading, or quicker yet a view of all the major concerns (Red). If you want to keep it in a folder print off the PDF option.

Need your report quickly?
Getting you the report without delay is paramount. You need the information as quickly as possible because there is a limited Inspection period, and you want to make your purchasing decision with confidence that is based on hard facts. Our report is your purchasing guide, giving you information on just about everything concerning the property you are buying.

Your complete satisfaction is our guarantee!

Gas and particularly natural gas piping may have traces of sediment or particulates in it, especially if work has been done to the underground piping under the street. Thermostat Placement Is Crucial

March 13, 2025 By David Roche

A badly placed thermostat plays havoc with the heating and cooling of a house. In this case the wall light creates a warm zone beside the thermostat causing it to register hotter than the rest of the house. This means that it reaches what it registers as the set temperature shutting the furnace down before […]Read More about Thermostat Placement Is Crucial

Bath Overflow Loose

All too often the overflow on the bathtub is loose or worse yet loose and the gasket damaged. If the bath is filled up to the overflow and it is loose the water will go down behind the tub which if it’s on the second floor could damage the ceiling. The water can also create […]Read More about Bath Overflow Loose

Bonding Gas Piping

January 8, 2025 By David Roche

A bonding wire is often mistaken for a ground wire, it does not go to ground but back to the electric panel. When it is connected to black iron *(steel)* piping the paint under the clamp must be removed with a rasp or sandpaper to make a good contact, paint reduces the contact rendering the […]Read More about Bonding Gas Piping
