Really solid company and the Inspector was top notch. David was personable and definitely knew the ins-and-outs of inspecting a pre drywall home. Overall my builder did a great job, but David did catch a couple major items and several moderate concerns - and reviewed them with me while at the house. The report is immediate and thorough enough to send directly to the builder. Outstanding and highly recommended!!

We inquired about availability for an inspection early in the morning and received a very prompt response. The inspector, Erick Gohlke, was very informative and professional - he toured us around the property, pointed out marks against the home, and gave some background into the issues and intricacies of the home.
We received our inspection report under 3 hours after Erick completed the inspection - very quick.

We first used Buyers Inspection Service to inspect a home we were interested in buying 5 years ago. David Roche was our inspector and he was WONDERFUL! He was very thorough and walked me through the home to explain everything he inspected and point out areas of concern. This meant so much to me because my husband was deployed at the time and I was doing all of the buying processes by myself. He was very friendly and personable and made sure I understood everything he was talking about. Unfortunately we backed out of that house because the owners were unwilling to fix the major problems that the house had. When we found another home of interest, we called Buyer's Inspection Service again because we were very pleased with their services the first time around. I specifically requested David because he was wonderful and I knew he would do a great job with the inspection and explaining things to me. Now, 5 years later we have found our forever home and yet again we called David! I will definitely be recommending Buyer's Inspection Service and David to anyone that is in need of a home inspection. Ryan did a fantastic job on our inspection, guided us away from an unnecessary test with confidence that the material in the house didn't contain asbestos, but also saved us from a project house that we didn't realize was going to be a project house. His eye for detail and articulating the larger issues that cracks could be hiding was invaluable ultimately in making sure we got the right experts to review the property.

I cannot begin to say enough great things about this company! Prior to selecting a company, I did a lot of research and Buyer's Inspection Service stood out from the rest. I loved they were a 1 stop shop for all my needs. We were very happy with Erick, who performed our new build, pre-drywall, home inspection. He took the time to "kick the tires" and really investigate the home, as well as helped us push back on leaks in the basement that were being blown off as residual water. Additionally, he shared information with us through the process. This along with his energy for his work gave us a lot of confidence in his work. We plan on utilizing Erick again for a final home inspection!

This place is amazing!! We decided to pick our own inspection service instead of going with the recommended service from our realtor and boy oh boy are we happy! From the very beginning they were doing everything they could to help save me money and give me a quality inspection. They even called once they started the inspection to tell us of a big problem, and said if this was a deal breaker they'd stop the inspection and we could get most of our money back. Their work is beyond thorough, and for once during the home buying experience it didn't feel like someone was trying to scam me, trick me, or coerce me. Buyer's Inspection Service truly feels like one of the last companies that isn't just out to squeeze you for every last dollar to your name. If you live in Dayton, don't go to anyone else! I'm blown away by their quality of work, compassion, and customer service. 11/10

This last house was the most unusual of the three, I really hope you can make a go of this one, possibly keeping it as an air B&B. Certainly worth a thought, particularly if the concrete would stay a few months more! Its a great location and the huge rear deck will make an amazing entertainment area for your kids.

I highly recommend Buyers Inspection Services. I’m building and began to have many concerns with my builder after reading reviews and was able to inform the inspector prior to the pre-dry meeting my concerns and what are the common trends I was reading and he was able to calm my nerves and educate me post inspection. There were some observations that was made to the builder that if I didn’t have an inspector it would’ve cost me so yes there is ROI on having Buyers with new construction. Thank you

David Roche with Buyer's Inspection Service conducted the inspection of my home for possible humidity and mold damage. He went down into the crawl space, took photographs and documented everything that needed attention. He shared with me a preliminary version of his findings and later sent me a detailed report. He discussed with me technical and financial alternatives which sent me on my way to find a solution for my crawl space and related problems. I strongly recommend this service.
