My furnace has a switch on the front panel it’s covered by a clear rubber cover you can push it in and hit the switch is that the disconnect switch?
David Roche says
Have never seen one like that, usually that clear cover is seen on “all electric heating systems” with heater coils and they would be breakers, which could then be used as a disconnect.
MICHEALE CARTER says
I have these and I have no idea which way to turn them (push them). There is a double switch red on one side green on the other and one that says 60 I think. But the switches are turned in opposite directions – my furnace sounds bad (like the fan struggling) and cold air blowing. Help.
