I can’t speak enough great things about Buyer’s Inspection Service!!! My family had just put a contract on a home, right when the Quarantine began and we were extremely worried that we would not be able to find a home inspector in our short window, but when we contacted BIS, they were able to work us in. Mr. David Roche was our inspector and he did a superb job and was extremely thorough! He not only fit us in quickly but provided much needed insight on the condition of our home, as well as, referred us to experts to give us additional information on findings from the report. His detailed inspection was so worth the money, because he was able to supply us with vital information that allowed us to make an informed decision to withdraw our contract; saving us money in the long run. Several weeks later, we ended up finding a wonderful home, and yet again Mr. Roche, from Buyers Inspection Services was able to fit us in and provided a quality inspection! We used Buyer's Inspection Services for the final inspection of our newly built home. We were not local to the area and the inspector went above and beyond for us. He took extra photo documentation of everything so we were able to see all the details of the inspection notes. The inspector was very thorough and the project manager of our home was impressed by how thorough the inspector was. He blue taped the home and provided a punch list for the builders. The report came back within 24 hours. We would happily use then again.

used buyers inspection as a first time home buyer, never had an inspection before on a house that was a flip. My inspector was David and the inspection was so thorough but also scary bc the house wasn’t in good condition beyond looks. long story short a million things were wrong w the house and I didn’t buy. Fast forward to the house I did buy, used a different inspector my agent recommended. bought the house...Am now dealing with several issues I know David would’ve caught if I would’ve used buyers inspection the second time around. this service is worth its money over and over, I learned the hard way. Use this company, I liked my second inspector but no one comes as close to as detail oriented as David, even if it isn’t great news. at least you’ll know! So sorry for not scheduling with buyers inspection the second time around!!

This was our second home purchase so we've had inspection services before. The last inspection was with a different company and they were good however Buyers Inspection Service we used this time was outstanding and much more professional grade. I was present for the inspection. They were unbelievably thorough. They answerd all my questions and they're final report with pictures was very detailed...more than I expected. Very thorough and honest. The report you receive is huge and very informative. There is a basic package and then add on items depending on how in depth you would like to go. Our inspector was very direct on exactly what he inspected and what wasn't inspected. I had two homes inspected a week apart and recieved the exact same level of service on both.

Buyer’s Inspection Service did an amazing job for us. Our inspector, David, spent three hours inspecting every aspect of our new home. This gave us credibility when we asked for repairs and it alerted us to issues that could arise in the future. Additionally he took the time to considerately answer every dumb question I had. I felt truly prepared moving forward with the purchase after David’s inspection and report. The inspection more than paid for itself in negotiations. It will continue to pay dividends as we settle in to our new home.Can’t stress this enough, a good home inspection is worth its weight in gold. On our last purchase we just used the guy our realtor recommended. $500 later I fouled out that all the outlets and faucets worked. I spent the mext two years fixing obvious stuff that probably should have been flagged. If you are going to spend the money, find someone with your interests in mind. Buyers inspection service falls into that category for sure! Five stars!

Great service, great quality! Were very thorough with our new home inspection, not only closely checking all the mechanicals, but very detailed in checking for fit and finish. Found two flashing issues that another inspector missed. Even went as far as noticing some rough spots on our new deck and a nail that could have snagged someone. Before they finished they reviewed the most important findings with us and printed all paperwork on the spot and presented it to us in a nice, organized binder, including very clear photos and typed notes taken only a couple hours prior. A week later they called again to follow up and see how their report did with our builder and checked to see ifnwe were satisfied. Donato, the booking manager returned my call in less than an hour. Then scheduled our inspection for only a few days later. David did our inspection and was incredibly personable and easy to talk to. Very pleased and would recommend them to anyone in need of the service. Price was comparable to any other company out there that we saw but we went with them because someone else in our neighborhood also had a great experience with them and recommended them.

We first used Buyers Inspection Service to inspect a home we were interested in buying. David Roche was our inspector and he was WONDERFUL! He was very thorough and walked me through the home to explain everything he inspected and point out areas of concern. This meant so much to me because my husband is deployed and I was doing all of the buying processes by myself. He was very friendly and personable and made sure I understood everything he was talking about. Unfortunately we backed out of that house because the owners were unwilling to fix the major problems that the house had. When we found another home of interest, we called Buyer's Inspection Service again because we were very pleased with their services the first time around. I specifically requested David because he was wonderful and I knew he would do a great job with the inspection and explaining things to me. Our inspector, David, was absolutely fantastic! He was very thorough in his inspection and discovered a number of concerning issues with the home we intended to purchase. As first-time home buyers, we were new to this process, so working with David was a comforting and informative experience. I would like to give them a good rating, but just a few days ago I was cleaning out my garage and noticed that my GFI plug was not working. I understand that this happens and didn’t have an issue replacing it. But what I thought would fix it didn’t, so I had to hire a electrician to come out and pay an additional 75.00, to fix something that should have been caught during the inspection. This is beyond frustrating that as a new home owner you entrusted someone to be your eyes and to point out the issues and for the most part this was done.As we continue to update our home we are finding things that should of been reviewed but wasn’t. I was told that “ this is a solid home and there were really no issues. I am really frustrated and want to make sure that others who are currently in the market please make sure that simple things like smoke detectors in the entire home were over 10 yrs old, all I was told that they “need batteries”. Second, I noticed that around one of the vent for the heater, has unauthorized tape... please review and make sure that you review your who is inspecting your home, and don’t let this happen to you. I will not give my name, but will tell you that my home was inspected back in August 2019 and it’s on Carrick Drive, Dayton 45458. Please look up my file, and call... even better stop by!

Never showed up, did not call.Felt obligated to respond to company comment below. I referred this company to my son and we waited for them to show up. Took off work to be there. Bad business practice. Claims are not true. Did not speak to anyone in the morning, not until much later in the day after we had already taken off work. No phone calls to confirm at all.

It’ll be worth the cost. (An extra $40 in my case)Or save yourself some time and just schedule it with Buyers Inspection Service. You won’t be disappointed.The knowledge and professionalism that David and his team brought to the table was absolutely world class. I was able to shadow David and ask questions which he answered with patience and experience. He did not sugar coat and shot straight to the point, good or bad. Every outlet and every (accessible) pipe, covered and noted. Thorough to a T. He spent an entire afternoon on the 1600sq ft house and supplied me with not only the knowledge of what to fix, but the know how to fix it. If you can’t be there, no worries. The final documentation is detailed and organized in such a way that it gives a buyer confidence in making repairs and/or leverage for negotiations with the seller to make repairs. Exceptional support and guidance as we built our new Ryan home. David inspected a house I was trying to buy. He was punctual and friendly. I am a first time home buyer, and have no idea what to look for. He was incredibly thorough, and able to explain things in a way that I understood. Because of his inspection I decided not to buy the home. He pointed out the extensive termite damage, and the shortcuts taken in repairs so the home appeared updated, but was not. He also discovered wiring that was an extreme fire hazard! Five stars is not enough to give this inspector. I would use them time and time again.

This is my second review as I've had two inspections now. The second, just like the first, was fantastic. David was helpful, informative, and patient with me. The first inspection I received helped me determine that house wasn't the house for me and the second helped me settle on the home I now own. The inspection was thorough and David was very pleasant to work with. He again answered all my questions and explained things in a clear and understandable manner. The inspection report is also full of very useful information and I'm using it to create a repair and update plan for my house. David is great at his job and the company has been very helpful, even answering questions after the fact. I've gone with Buyer's Inspection Service twice now and twice I have been thoroughly pleased with my experience. I would not buy house today without a inspection. Buyer’s Inspection did a great job. They took the time to check everything. If found anything was found they showed you and told how major the problem. I had couple of minor issues, easy to fix. My husband has health issues so I did a radon check, it took three days to test. I have peace of mind knowing the house level is fine. I received a well written report with pictures. I would recommend Buyers Inspection to everyone.

4 Feb 2019I used Buyer's Inspection right before the drywall process of my new home. Ryan delivered a detailed report of the problems or discrepancies identified. I was able to forward his report to the site manager to make the necessary adjustments to my home before the dry-walling began. I will be using Buyer's Inspection again before I close. Excellent service.UPDATE 19 Mar 2019Buyer's Inspection came out to my new home construction three days before my pre-settlement walkthrough. The detailed report received from Ryan identified and explained the problems, some I believed to be serious. Ryan also contacted me the following morning to describe in detail the issues identified. Flaws found by Ryan were corrected prior to closing. I would highly recommend Buyer's Inspection to anyone building a new home or purchasing a pre-existing home.

Inspector inspected a winterized house, but agreed to come back for free after it had been dewinterize for a second visit to make sure the plumbing was correct. Found some small things that we were able to get the seller to pay for. Inspection paid for itself in that sense.

I have used this company twice for my new build (pre-drywall and final). I am definitely glad I chose to spend the money and protect my investment. I feel like the builder/seller actually took me seriously when I had a report with all the fixes that were required. I had David both times for the inspection. He was very thorough and reassured me of any concerns I had. There is a lot of new style building material like PEX I am unfamiliar with. He was very knowledgeable and pointed out things I wouldn't even think to look out for. I also like that you receive a very detailed report at the end. It includes a list of each room and issues found, INCLUDING pictures. He prints the report right away using a portable printer and you also get a copy in email which is really convenient to send out. This definitely makes it easy to remember all the issues and communicate those effectively with the builder/seller. Even if they are not willing to correct everything on the list David gave me ideas about what would be required to make things right.

Buyer's Inspection Service performed an inspection on the house I was considering purchasing. Ryan performed the inspection and the entire process was both informative and critical in our decision later to purchase the house. They responded quickly to a message I left over the weekend and was out within days to perform the inspection. I hired this company to do our inspection based on their high reviews. Boy, was I thankful for the reviews because let me tell you, they are 100% accurate. This service was top-notch from start to finish. Danato was super kind and knowledgeable setting everything up, and Ryan, our inspector, was prompt, thorough, friendly, professional, and meticulous with the inspection. He spent about 6 hours in the home combing through every single inch. I asked him questions the whole time and he never made me feel like a bother or that I was in the way. Similar to the previous reviews listed, Dave conducted a comprehensive inspection. Prior to the inspection he coordinated with external parties on my request for supplemental inspections. During his inspection portion, he walked throughout the house and used a detailed checklist. He took the time to explain to me what he observed and noted. At the inspection's conclusion, he provided a hardcopy of the report at the job site and ultimately emailed the report to all concerned parties. Bottom Line: an overall great job!

David inspected a home I was considering purchasing in 2007. I thought I had done a pretty thorough inspection myself but missed many things that would be expensive to repair and were potentially dangerous. The detail of the inspection and the easily understood summary were very valuable. Due to the inspection, not only were necessary repairs made prior to the purchase, but I was able to negotiate a better price. Without the repairs and price reduction, the appraisal may not have been adequate for the loan needed. I would definitely use them again. Great value.
