When buying a house don’t think that your home inspector is all you need to make sure your new home is all you want it to be. That junk car in the neighbors driveway has been there for years and it will be there for you to see every day when you purchase the home. The neighbors barking dog that is ignored 24/7, will still bark when you try to sit on your rear patio and enjoy a quiet evening. The neighbor kid who has a desire to be the worlds loudest drumming soloist, may shatter your idea of what the perfect house is. As a buyer you get the neighbors that are already in place. It is worth walking the street at different times of the day, talking to the neighbors further down the road. Visit the area in the evening and Saturday afternoons to get a feel for the area. Once you buy the house it will be too late to change your mind.
