Founder of Buyer’s Inspection Service
David Roche brings decades of experience in construction, remodeling, and rehabbing older homes—work he has done since 1977 in both the United States and, his homeland, Ireland.
A highly credentialed professional, David holds both the prestigious American Society of Homeowners (ASHI) Certified Inspector (ACI) and the National Association of Home Inspectors (NAHI) Certified Real Estate Inspector (CRI) designations—certifications earned by only a small number of home inspectors nationwide.
He graduated with distinction in 1998 from the American Inspectors Society in Atlanta and is Board Certified and a life member. David has served on the AIS Board of Directors and is a frequent guest lecturer at their training sessions. His dedication to excellence has earned him two “Inspector of the Year” awards.
David is a Certified Inspector with ASHI, having met their rigorous standards, including passing a comprehensive technical exam. He also joined NAHI in 1998 and earned the CRI designation shortly thereafter—awarded to inspectors who demonstrate advanced knowledge, proven proficiency, and successful completion of the NAHI CRI Exam. David also served as president of NAHI’s Ohio chapter.
In addition to inspections, David is a sought-after speaker at local and state business events and real estate seminars. He teaches state-approved continuing education courses to new Realtors across the Dayton area.
For several years, David also hosted The Home Inspector, a live call-in radio show on Dayton’s WHIO 1290, before stepping down due to his busy schedule.
