Home Owner Ripped Off: No termite Treatment

The home has a very serious termite problem, active termites across full width of the living room front wall right up to the ceiling, across into a bedroom and back along two of the garage walls. It appeared that the home owner was an older person and they had not realized that there was a termite problem getting worse year by year as they chewed up the framing of the house.

They paid for a termite treatment and were sold a “baiting system” which was installed a few weeks before our inspection. Our termite inspector checked the stations only to find that all the stations were monitoring stations (super cheap) and not ones with poison, there was no chemical in any of them! At a cost of between fifty percent more and up to twice the price of a chemical treatment using Termador which can eradicate a termite colony in weeks, this home owner had emptied their wallet for a fake treatment. It’s always best to deal with reputable companies.
